IN BLOOM HOLISTIC COUNSELLING

Do you need someone to talk to? Are you finding life a struggle, feel anxious or overwhelmed? Has something specific happened that is preventing you from moving forward; the end of a relationship, loss of a job, a bereavement? Do you desire something to change, however, don't know specifically what it is or where to start?  Perhaps things don't feel quite right and you need guidance with discovering any underlying issues you may not be aware of? As a trained counsellor, I offer a non-judgemental space to listen and help you sift through what may be troubling you. Counselling can be a powerful and positive step for many.

Online counselling sessions are conducted via zoom and provide a convenient way to access counselling without needing to leave home. Zoom is preferred as it is encrypted and suits the confidentiality requirements of counselling. This option may provide a solution if you; live in a remote location, are time poor, unable to get access to baby sitters, or simply enjoy the convenience online offers. Our first recommendation would be in-person counselling, as body language is a silent communicator and we are trained to notice any subtleties during our time with you, which may create a more in-depth experience. 

If your preference for a counselling session is to sit in a park under a tree, or  ‘walk and talk’  surrounded by nature, then this approach may be a refreshing and welcome change.  Growing research is showing that simply being in nature has a positive effect on your physical, social, emotional, and mental well-being. Sessions in nature offer all the benefits of in-person counselling yet with the added healing effects of walking in the fresh air. Sitting at a park bench in the cool under the shade of a beautiful tree can also feel revitalising.
